Our Parishes in Oak Park Remembered the Faithful Departed - November 1, 2025

On Saturday, November 1, the Catholic Communities of Oak Park and Neighbors celebrated All Souls’ Day with Remembrance Masses at 4:30 PM for St. Catherine of Siena-St. Lucy and St. Giles Parish and at 5:00 PM for Ascension and St. Edmund Parish. At Masses, the communities remembered all parishioners who had been buried from both parishes during the past year. These Masses were an occasion to honor those connected to the parish who have died since November 2024. All were invited, especially those who have lost a loved one who was either buried from either parish or who we prayed for at our weekend Masses throughout the previous year. We read the list of names of the departed and light candles in their memory.
