The Ascension and the St. Edmund Women's Spirituality Group gathers women in all stages of life to strengthen our connection to our God by connecting with each other through reading, prayer, and reflection. Each year, we choose a new book as a foundation for discussion of our personal thoughts and experiences. All women of the parish are invited to join us. Our policy remains: You’re always welcome, whether you have read the selected chapters or not!

We meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month, September through May, from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM, with social time from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM - Next on October 8, 2026 - This year, we will be reading and discussing the book: Cherished Belonging: The Healing Power of Love in Divided Times by Greg Boyle.

Our September 10, 2026 meeting will be held in the St. Edmund McGivern Center. All other meetings from October until May will be held in the Ascension Parish Center Dining Room.
