Thank you for considering sharing this special Sacrament with us at Ascension and St. Edmund Parish. We ask that all couples who are asking to celebrate their marriage at Ascension and St. Edmund be connected to the community. The year-long process of meeting with Fr. Rex Pillai (Moderator of Pastoral Care), participating in marriage preparation, and planning the liturgy requires that couples notify one of our parish offices a year in advance to schedule a date. Marriage Mentors who are also parishioners are assigned to engaged couples to guide in marriage preparation and to walk with you on your journey to marriage. Engaged couples and their mentors meet for approximately 3-4 sessions to discuss a variety of topics using the program Prepare Enrich.
