At Ascension and St. Edmund Parish, we collect food on the third weekend of the month (September 20-21, 2025) for the Pantry sponsored by the Men's group at our sharing parish, St. Simon of Cyrene (formerly St. Martin de Porres) in Chicago - On the third Sunday of each month, bring your bag(s) of non-perishable grocery items to Mass and place on the altar during the collection of gifts, or at one of the Church entrances.

We also accept monetary donations to go towards the food pantry. You can donate online by using the button below or by checks made out to "St. Simon of Cyrene Catholic Church," put "pantry" on the "for" line, and drop it in the collection basket any time during the month. The men always have to buy more than we donate, and this helps them. We are always grateful for whatever you do to help these wonderful men. > Click to Donate Online
