Come Join Us as We Pray the Rosary for Peace - August 19, 2026

On the 13th of each month (except for August) from May through October, 109 years ago, our Blessed Mother appeared to the children of Fatima. In August, she appeared on the 19th and had the same clear message: “Pray the Rosary for Peace.” So, join us on Wednesday, August 19th, at 12 Noon as we gather in St. Giles Church to pray the rosary.
Since at this time of the year so many gardens have beautiful flowers, if you have flowers in your yard, bring a few and place them in the vase that will be on the Blessed Mother’s altar. Be sure to enter the church via the Greenfield side (the one with the ramp).
If you cannot be with us, say the rosary that day and offer it up for peace in this world.

Need a Little Encouragement to Pray the Rosary
STILL TIME TO TRY IT!
It’s been said that our Blessed Mother cannot refuse prayers that accompany the rosary – can we try it? Look around you in church, there are many of us! If we all take 15 minutes a day focused on the needs of our families, our country and the whole world, these prayers will make a difference!
As we ask our Blessed Mother to help us during these difficult times the world is experiencing, we offer you two ways to help you get started praying the rosary.
AT ASCENSION CAMPUS - The Knights of Columbus always pray the rosary on the second Saturday of each month (September 12, 2026) at Ascension from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM at Our Lady’s Shrine at the labyrinth. All are welcome!
AT MASSES - Every morning at 8:00 AM, before the 8:30 AM Mass, depending on the location, there is a group that prays the rosary. You are welcome to join them and stay for Mass if you have time! There are rosaries available and how to pray it at the DV displays.
