The Ascension and St. Edmund 50+ Social Club is an organization for parishioners ages 50 and over. The group is primarily focused on providing social activities, allowing participants to form new friendships and expand their horizons through social, spiritual, and service activities. Events organized by the 50+ Social Club are open to all parishioners.
Meetings - Most months, meetings are on the 3rd Wednesday at 2:00 PM in St. Edmund’s Murphy Hall. There are exceptions. Meetings are also announced in the bulletin.

Theater Outing - "Sister Act" - January 7, 2026

Join us on Wednesday, January 7, at 1:30 PM for our next theater outing, "Sister Act", at Drury Lane Theatre, Oakbrook Terrace. Tickets are $45 each. Transportation will be on your own, although some carpooling may be available. The deadline to purchase tickets is December 7 or until all tickets are sold.
To reserve your ticket, please drop your payment off at the McGivern Center or Ascension Parish Center, or give it to Bonnie Edwalds by December 7. Checks should be made out to Ascension and St. Edmund Parish, with “Sister Act” written on the memo line. Please put your check in an envelope along with your name, email address, and phone number. Put “Bonnie Edwalds / Sister Act” on the outside of the envelope. You will get a confirmation email approximately a week after payment.
