At Ascension and St. Edmund Parish - The first Ascension and St. Edmund Care of Creation Liturgy was celebrated on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the 10:30 AM Mass! Ascension School students served as ministers in this special liturgy to honor Creation; they also made Creation prayer cards to share with all of us. In addition, our parish gardeners offered some "seed activities" for children after Mass. It was a lovely way to honor the legacy of Pope Francis who brought global attention to the urgency of caring for the Earth.
At St. Catherine of Siena-St. Lucy and St. Giles Parish - The 10:30 AM Mass in honor of Creation on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at St. Giles Church, brought parishioners from the combined parish (St. Catherine of Siena-St. Lucy and St. Giles) to praise God for the wonder and beauty of Creation. Students and children from the parish and the Family Mass Community were our lectors and provided artwork. We hope to make this an annual celebration. Alleluia!
