Our annual outreach program helps over 400 recipients at Christmas to be able to purchase food, medications, and other essentials. The need for food assistance is at the highest level this season. Your tax-deductible donation will be used to purchase gift cards for Jewel and Aldi, and to make monetary donations to nonprofit organizations who are addressing the needs of the most vulnerable.

Community Share Event - The Contemplative Prayer Ministry at St. Catherine of Siena-St. Lucy and St. Giles Parish offers a number of Virtual Listening Sessions for Advent, Monday through Sunday. One can sew, draw, color, yarn, rest or simply embrace the deep wisdom as we listen together to these transforming books. No need to acquire a book; we just listen!

LIVING THE WORD Scripture reflection books are available for the new liturgical year that began with the first Sunday of Advent. Living the Word is a weekly scripture/reflection resource. Books are available at the main entrance of Ascension Church. The cost is $10.

Poinsettia plants purchased in memory of deceased loved ones will decorate our churches during the Christmas season as a reminder of the love of our family and friends who have passed away.

Community Shared Event - A Contemplative Advent Prayer Experience at St. Giles Campus - One walks in the spiral with a candle, in silence, regarding everything as they move to the center, reflecting on the beauty and bounty of God's creation, the words of the Prophets, and the stories of Jesus coming into the world.

Donations to the Retirement Fund for Religious provide housing, medical assistance, and essential support for thousands of aging religious. Please consider giving on the weekend of December 13-14 at all Masses or online.
