Archdiocesan Shared Event - Have you been baptized and made your First Holy Communion in the Catholic Church, but never been sealed with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit through the sacrament of Confirmation? Non-Parish Event of Interest - The Kathy McMahon Adams Fund provides $1,500 college scholarships to graduates of Ascension School and parishioners at Ascension and St. Edmund Parish who are either high school seniors or current college students. Special consideration is given to students majoring in education. Applications will be accepted until February 16, 2026.

LIVING THE WORD Scripture reflection books are available for the new liturgical year that began with the first Sunday of Advent. Living the Word is a weekly scripture/reflection resource. Books are available at the main entrance of Ascension Church. The cost is $10.

St. Catherine of Siena-St. Lucy and St. Giles Parish has their Food First Collection on the First Weekend of the Month at St. Giles Church - Please bring your donations of canned or shelf-stable food and paper products with you to any of the first weekend Masses.

The Knights of Columbus and the St. Edmund Diaper Ministry collect diapers and other items on the first weekend of the month for The Neighborhood Bridge, Housing Forward, and Beyond Hunger.
