The Prayer Shawl Ministers knit or crochet their shawls at home and then gather on the Second Monday of the month from 1:00 to 2:30 PM at the St. Giles Parish Center, to work on their shawls, pray for the recipients and enjoy each other’s company.

Children's Liturgy of the Word takes place on the second and fourth Sundays of the month at the 10:30 AM Mass at Ascension Church. Archdiocesan Shared Event - Couples celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary from across the Archdiocese of Chicago are invited to gather together for the Golden Wedding Anniversary Mass on September 14 at 2:30 PM that will be celebrated by Cardinal Cupich at Holy Name Cathedral.
