Chicago Mental Health Delegation Visited Faith and Fellowship Detroit - January 2026

Many parishioners may not be aware that Connie Rakitan's vision for Faith and Fellowship extended far beyond our home at Saint Catherine-Saint Lucy. Decades ago, Connie helped establish a Faith and Fellowship chapter in Detroit, Michigan. At the invitation of Brother Bob Malloy, a Capuchin friar from Detroit, a delegation of Catholic mental health ministers from Chicago visited Faith and Fellowship Detroit to strengthen ties and discuss best practices. Many thanks to Brother Bob for this grace-filled opportunity. Connie remains in our hearts and continues to guide our ministry.
