On January 25, 2026, our Catholic Communities of Oak Park held their Rite of Acceptance and Welcoming at St. Edmund Church - This is a Catholic liturgical ceremony that marks the start of the OCIA journey, welcoming unbaptized inquirers (Rite of Acceptance) and baptized Christians (Rite of Welcoming) who seek full communion, signifying their public commitment to Christ, symbolizing their entry into the Church's community with prayers, blessings, and the sign of the cross, and initiating their deeper formation.
