Traditional Religious Education (TRE) is a text-based faith formation program that uses Loyola Press, “Finding God” for 1st – 8th grade levels. The program is designed for students to learn about our Catholic faith, teachings, and traditions.

Sessions are held two to three times per month on Sunday mornings, 9:00 - 10:15 AM - Classes are located at Ascension Campus / Ascension School (601 Van Buren) - Our schedule generally follows the public school calendar. Sunday classes are held on weekends when there is not a holiday break in the public schools.

2025-2026 TRE Classes begin on Sunday, September 7 at 9:00 AM

Traditional Religious Education Parent Meeting - Sunday, August 24 at 9:30 AM at Ascension School, Lower Level, Pine Room - Please come to hear all about "Finding God, Our Response to God's Gifts" curriculum, meet other families and your children's Catechist. Books and the children's folders will be available with class room assignments. There should be time for questions and open discussions. Contact Terri Monaco for any inquiries.
