Traditional Religious Education (TRE) is a text-based faith formation program that uses Loyola Press, “Finding God” for 1st – 7th grade levels. 8th grade curriculum is geared for preparing for Confirmation in addition to the Confirmation Prep Sessions. The program is designed for students to learn about our Catholic faith, teachings, and traditions.

Sessions are held on Sunday mornings, 9:00 AM - 10:15 AM - We follow the public school schedule and are off during school holiday long weekends. Classes are located at Ascension Campus / Ascension School (601 Van Buren)

2026-2027 TRE Classes begin on Sunday, September 13 at 9:00 AM.

Traditional Religious Education Parent Meeting and Open House - Sunday, September 13 at 9:00 AM at Ascension School, Lower Level, Pine Room - Please come to hear all about "Finding God, Our Response to God's Gifts" curriculum, meet other families and your children's Catechist. Books and the children's folders will be available with classroom assignments. Children will go to their classrooms with their Catechist.
