Join us on Wednesday, March 18, from 5:45 PM to 7:15 PM in the McDonough Hall on the 2nd Floor of the Gleeson Building of St. Giles Campus - 1101 Columbian in Oak Park, IL
All of this awaits you in the Hall as our ASP teens and adults prepare and serve a good ol’ fashioned soup supper. All are welcome!
In July, more than 175 teens and adults from the St. Giles community will once again drive a caravan of 26 white vans to Appalachia for a week of service with the national ASP program. Our vans will be packed with tools, tents, boots, cots, and plenty of snacks as we travel to Kentucky or West Virginia to partner with families in need of warmer, safer, and drier homes.
ASP is a relationship ministry with construction on the side. During this week, we build meaningful relationships with the families we serve and with our ASP summer staffers. It’s a transformational experience for everyone involved - so much so that many of our teens call it “the best week of summer.”
We’re also practicing sustainability! Please bring your own bowl, spoon, cloth napkin, and cup. Water pitchers will be available.
Please join us for dinner - it’s FREE! - A free-will offering will be collected to support our ASP trip.
Thank you for your continued support and prayers. We look forward to sharing a delicious and traditional soup supper with you! Contact [email protected] with questions.
