Remember the Homeless for Christmas - Catholic Communities of Oak Park and Neighbors
Invitation for the Catholic Communities of Oak Park and Neighbors to Remember the Homeless for Christmas
For over 30 seasons, the Saint Giles community has generously and willingly served the local homeless community with a full dinner with all the trimmings, festive decorations, and personal gifts.
On Christmas Eve, we will provide dinners and gifts to two different locations for Housing Forward in Oak Park. We ask that this Christmas, more than ever, you help us to bring the joy of the season to the homeless.
How You Can Help
We have been asked to provide Hat/Scarf and Glove sets instead of sweaters this year.
We will also be providing $25 Target gift cards with each gift.
Donate: Cooked, whole turkeys/hams.
Donate: Rolls and butter, corn, paper plates, cups and silverware.
Donate: Milk and pop, desserts.
All food and dinnerware should be delivered to my home (see address below) by 1:00 PM on Christmas Eve, December 24.
No Time to Shop but want to Help?
Please consider donating a $25.00 gift card for Target. If you’d prefer to write a check, please make it payable to Saint Giles, marked “homeless” and deliver to the Parish Center. Donations can also be made through GiveCentral by clicking on the button below. > Donate Online
