Immigration Support Service - Our Immigration Support Services (ISS) works with migrants to help them complete many applications including those for asylum and work permits, and also translates documents which need to accompany those applications. ISS will be moving from Centro San Edmundo across the street to Murphy Hall the first week of September and will continue operation after the school building closes.
We have an amazing group of volunteers who handle the applications and translations but need help from other volunteers to make copies, check in new people and to entertain children. Many of our current volunteers will move with us but there are many slots available. Please contact the email listed below if you are interested in this ministry.
The last day Migrant Ministry will receive clothing and other donations (except financial) will be Monday, September 15. After that the center will be closed on Mondays. FOR NOW WE ARE COLLECTING WINTER CLOTHING.
