On Tuesday, June 10, the Migrant Ministry Volunteers gathered at Saint Edmund for lunch and to celebrate the work that they are doing. About 60 volunteers attended and they were treated to a lovely meal made by one of our migrant brothers. In addition they were treated to a musical tribute to the tune of the Beatle’s With a Little Help From My Friends. Here are a few of the lyrics and a photo of the performers:
What did you do, when we called out to you, Asking for volunteers, at Saint Ed’s? Serve food to all, guard the doors in the hall, Getting up early out of your beds. Oh, we got by with a little help from our friends.
Most sincerely, thank you, to all of the Migrant Ministry volunteers.
Our work would not be possible without the volunteers and your generous donations. We have moved from Amazon to DreamList.
Please continue to pray for our beloved migrant brothers and sisters.
