Youth Service and Support - The Migrant Ministry is in awe of the immense network of supporters who find a way to assist the ministry that fits into their schedules and skills. School groups are an integral part of this network. As part of their Service Day, volunteers from St. Giles School recently spent a Sunday afternoon at Centro San Edmundo, sweeping and washing floors, wiping down window ledges, and restoring a “sparkle” to the spaces visited twice weekly by the migrants. The team’s energy and enthusiasm for the ministry embodied living the Gospel and loving our neighbor. MIL GRACIAS ST. GILES LIONS!
Likewise, the dynamic young women of Trinity High School’s Social Justice Club raised $6,707 during a recent Spirit Week for the Migrant Ministry. The students created a variety of fun activities (including a rousing Penny Pitch) to raise the funds, the most ever raised for a social cause in the school’s history. Migrant Ministry representatives Marilyn Foster and Celine Woznica were left speechless and tearful. MIL GRACIAS TRINITY BLAZERS!
Our work would not be possible without the volunteers and your generous donations. We have moved from Amazon to DreamList.
Please continue to pray for our beloved migrant brothers and sisters.
