It's a Miracle! - Parables, Miracles and Maxims
Multiplication of the loaves and fishes. The healing of the man born blind. We are so moved by these stories of how God works through Jesus. We wonder, are there still miracles happening today?
To answer that, perhaps, it’s time to look at miracles from a different perspective. What do the miracle stories really teach us? Do the parables of Jesus tell us what the miracles of Jesus show us? We ask ourselves, "How does the way I live my life connect me to the miracles of Jesus?" and is it possible understand miracles in a deeper way?
Join us for a discussion of “Parables, Miracles and Maxims” on Thursday, April 23 at 7:00 PM in St. Edmund’s Murphy Hall.
Together we will consider miracles and what they reveal about God’s kingdom. Together we will reflect on the connection among parables, miracles and how we are called to live our lives today.
Jesus said, “The kingdom of God is among you.” Let us gather so that together we can experience a miracle.
